3D LiDAR integration with SAIMOS Video Analytics

SAIMOS® is proud of being once more the first video analytics solution integrating additional sensor technology, namely 3D LiDAR, into Milestone XProtect. As usual, it’s a truly seamless integration of various 3D LiDAR sensors with Milestone XProtect and allows alarm- and event forwarding from various analytics. Such analytics are people counting, occupancy monitoring, perimeter protection, proximity detection, and others.
Further, we did also an integration of the 3D LiDAR data with our GIS platform, the SAIMOS® Control Center. This allows us to store each LiDAR object and its historical tracing data within our geo-database for further geospatial analytics. The cross camera- and PTZ tracking of a selected LiDAR object is supported as well.

SAIMOS® Control Center

SAIMOS® Control Center provides enhanced Situational Awareness by combining VMS, Video Analytics and Sensor Data with geospatial analytics within a GIS environment (outdoor & indoor).

SAIMOS® Control Center integrates Video Analytics, LiDAR, Radar and a GIS environment into Milestone XProtect to provide operators an enhanced Situational Awareness. The XProtect integrated map-centric display provides relevant Alarms and Events to operators. Functionalities like Perimeter Protection / Intrusion Detection / People Counting / Occupancy / Face Analytics / LPR are available within SAIMOS® for various usages. The goal is to optimise OPEX as well as the security of assets
